The operational challenge

What was actually happening in the operation.

  • 01

Gomistar needed greater traceability and operational control over the management of maritime transportation services and transit orders.

  • 02

The process involved operational registration, service evidence, customer interaction, administrative review and billing information.

What AF changed

Not a technology list — a change in how the work runs.

AF performed process analysis and designed and implemented an end-to-end digital operating model using BPMS.ai.

  • People

    • Operational, administrative and customer roles work in the same traceable flow.
  • Process

    • Service request, execution, review and billing support form one continuous process.
  • Documents

    • Service evidence is captured digitally as part of the operation.
  • Data

    • Daily and weekly reporting is produced from the process itself.

documented deliverables

The closing documentation records achievement of objectives and acceptance of deliverables. It does not quantify percentage improvements, so none are published here.

Maritime transportation services produce operational facts in the field and financial consequences in the back office. Gomistar needed those two ends connected, with evidence in between.

The delivered model covers the full lifecycle: request, field operation, digital service record, administrative review, customer acceptance or rejection and billing support — with QA and production environments, training and stabilization. The project has a formal closure document dated 23 April 2026, with achievement of objectives as the stated reason and deliverables marked received and accepted.

What this demonstrates

Capabilities another operation can apply.

Each organisation's context is different, so this describes demonstrated capability — not a result another company will reproduce identically.

  • End-to-end process design from field operation to billing support
  • Portals that bring customers inside the operational flow
  • Digital evidence as the basis for administrative and billing control
  • Formal delivery discipline: QA, training, stabilization and documented acceptance
